TAMISA LAUNCHES NEW COMMITTEE ASA GOVT URGES INTEGRITY AND EYES TZS 3.1 TRILLION IN MINING OPPORTUNITIES
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Minerals, Eng. Yahya Samamba, officially launched the Marketing and Communication Committee of TAMISA and urged service providers in the mining sector to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
“With the stability we have in the mining sector, there’s no room for dishonesty. Let’s seize the opportunities and serve with discipline,” said Eng. Samamba.
Also speaking at the event, Dr. Theresia Numbi, Commissioner of the Mining Commission, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to Local Content, emphasizing that Tanzanians must benefit from the sector through jobs, services, and technological growth.
TAMISA Chairperson, Peter Kumalila, projected TZS 3.1 trillion in local content opportunities, promising deep member vetting to ensure delivery and trust across the mining value chain.
